A language is better
experienced than taught

I'm Diane — a native French speaker, mom of two, and someone who believes the best way for a child to discover French is through joy, not instruction. Books, songs, and everyday moments of play — that's where the magic happens.

Bonjour
I'm Diane Kim

"A language is better experienced than taught. French doesn't have to feel like a lesson — it can feel like a song, a story, a game, something your child simply absorbs because it's joyful and present in their world."

I'm a mom of two, a native French speaker, and a certified French educator. I've always been a little obsessed with languages — and fascinated by how the words we grow up with shape the way we think, connect, and see the world.

Growing up in France and living across four countries gave me a deep appreciation for what it means to move between cultures, and a strong belief that giving children a second language is one of the most meaningful gifts a parent can offer.

My approach is simple: keep it joyful, keep it natural. Children absorb language the same way they absorb everything else at this age — through play, repetition, and love. Your job as a parent? Just show up.
